...when you're trying to listen to a conference call at your desk...where you're the one that's supposed to be demo-ing the new database for a group of other people, but to do the demo you have to be able to hear the instructions that are being given to you...but you can't follow the instructions because the guy across the room is talking on HIS phone and it's literally impossible to focus with that distraction in the room, with the sound of his voice layered on top of the sound of your speakerphone.
